My Mindfulness Coaching practice is based on an integral model of coaching that helps people find their true potential in their lives. I draw on over 26 years of experience as a mindfulness practitioner, behavior change specialist and personal trainer.
In my coaching practice I help you to optimize your ability to manifest your deepest intentions, and to live a satisfying and fulfilling life. I don’t pretend to have all the answers. I simply help you to discover what’s important and support you living in harmony with your deepest values. I assist in exploring what interferes with you manifesting the life and purpose you envision—what unconscious blocks, patterns, habits, and beliefs distract you from your goal.
My practice takes awareness as the fundamental ground of who we are and what we do. Awareness is the key to self-knowledge, transformation, and effective functioning in the world. Because of that, helping people develop and deepen the practice of mindfulness is central to the coaching work that I do as it provides the basis for awareness in all aspects of our life.
When you work with a mindfulness coach to develop a deeper practice, bring mindfulness to everyday life, and work with the difficulties and struggles. While working one-on-one in your mindfulness coaching sessions you will gain practices, understanding, and insight into your experience. I will teach you how to bring mindfulness and compassion to difficulties, create a plan for growth, and build resiliency.
Personal Fitness Training
The Personal Fitness Training programs are always started with an individual exercise evaluation to determine bio-mechanical strengths and weaknesses within your body. When the body has bio-mechanical issues it will develop injuries over time. So imagine this you have been overweight for 5 or more years and your body is out of balance. You are developing muscular imbalances that are creating excessive stress for your joints and tendons which are causing you pain and discomfort. Knowing this I will design a plan for you that includes corrective exercise and weight loss together. There is no reason to be skinny if you are not fit and pain free as well right...
As part of the Personal Fitness Training you will learn what your triggers are that cause you to fail. When we identify why you hate exercise, or your need for different foods or alcohol we can prepare steps to avoid them. We will do this by helping you become more mindfully aware of your feelings and environment.
