Personal Fitness Training
The Personal Fitness Training programs are always started with an individual exercise evaluation to determine bio-mechanical strengths and weaknesses within your body. When the body has bio-mechanical issues it will develop injuries over time. So imagine this you have been overweight for 5 or more years and your body is out of balance. You are developing muscular imbalances that are creating excessive stress for your joints and tendons which are causing you pain and discomfort. Knowing this I will design a plan for you that includes corrective exercise and weight loss together. There is no reason to be skinny if you are not fit and pain free as well right...
As part of the Personal Fitness Training you will learn what your triggers are that cause you to fail. When we identify why you hate exercise, or your need for different foods or alcohol we can prepare steps to avoid them. We will do this by helping you become more mindfully aware of your feelings and environment.
Personalized Programs: As your certified NASM master personal trainer and yoga instructor I will design a personal training program specifically for YOU based on your individual profile (including age, exercise history, fitness level, goals, available equipment, schedule availability, medical history, etc.). To save time, many diets or fitness programs are based on a general, one-size-fits-all approach and use computer-generated programs. But, most exercisers are more successful at reaching their goals when using a program that is designed just for them. I utilize the extensive profile you provide to develop your customized program so that you are always doing exercises that are just right for YOU. I design programs for all fitness levels, for working out anywhere (home, gym, or on the road), and for use with a variety of exercise equipment or even no equipment at all.
Motivation, Encouragement and Accountability: Unlike other fitness programs that take your money and then forget about you, I will be there with you through every step. You'll receive regular encouragement and tips from me via text or email. Researchers have found that exercisers who are accountable to a trainer or a partner are more successful in reaching their fitness goals.
More Variety -- Less Burnout: Researchers have found that an exercise program is more successful if it includes variety and continually challenges the body to work hard. All of my programs utilize this concept. My personalized workouts include a variety of exercises and frequent changes to keep your mind from burning out and your body from adapting and hitting a plateau, which can cause you to stop losing weight and/or gaining muscle.
